Illawarra schools in tune for Harmony Day 2018 celebrations

Two schools in the northern suburbs of Illawarra will discover the world's cultures as part of the Day of Harmony celebrations.

Our "Ourrapeutic Culture" website will offer programs to the Thirul General School on Tuesday 20 March and the East Cormerale General School on Thursday (March 22nd).

School presentations and workshops at Ensemble Touch are promoting intercultural understanding and lively and lively presentations by local artists and cultural presenters.

"The IntelInvision program has provided curriculum-related cultural education to more than 5,000 Australian schools, serving more than 2 million students," said Anna Komachov, a national school and program director.

The quality of school programs provided an ideal platform for further class discussion on cultural diversity and harmony, she said.

Meanwhile, the Wulongong Public School celebrates Harmonious Day on Wednesday (March 21st).

The school encourages all students to bring a small plate of international food to share with their "friends" and wear in their national uniform or the Mufti of Orange.

International lunch and lunch activities start from 1.10 pm to 3 pm, while the entire school community is invited to attend a special ceremony from 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
